Had a strange experience the other day and wanted some opinions on it.
I had a sports massage/adjustment on my dodgy neck, hip and shoulder. So after he had loosened up the muscles surrounding my hip and neck he cracked them back in line and moved on at which point he touched me you know where is this normal during massage.....
Kidding he went on to my shoulder issue which turns out to my an extremely tight pec minor, said gentleman told me not to foam roll or lacrosse ball the are (or any for that mattsr) as it's counter productive.
This was somewhat confusing as I've always been led to believe you should be foam rolling etc well as well as your mobility work. Furthermore he didn't get into to it to loosen it down just told me to stretch it 3 times per day for 2 minutes which left me confused will this fix it the issue over time or should I be utilising self Myofacial release as normal??
Cheers and happy holidays
