Preference?

Hey folks. I've recently designed my own program from the sticky here. Designed an upper lower,for 4 days a week. My question is, what's the preferred ranges? I have it set up as the first 2 sets(main compound)are in the 3-5 rep range then the remainder are 8-12. Or do you prefer to break your workouts into strength days and hypertrophy days?
