Hey guys, Im getting frustrated with my weak squats and need advice.
I few months ago my squats were progressing well but then i found that i was actually stopping a few inches above parallel.
So, I reduced the weight significantly and am now hitting just below parallel and no longer making progress.
I was previously doing 5x5 for 295 ibs. and am now stuck at a dismal 255, and barely making that.
Ive already changed my routine from ppl (3 on, 1 off) to an upper/lower in order to gain more frequency.Should i move to a higher rep scheme?
For what its worth squats have always been my weakest link and despite perfect form my progression has always been slow even while all my other lifts have moved forward with more speed.
